Meet The Pros
Steve Loftus
Heartland Contracting LLC has over 50 years of combined residential construction experience and a very good reputation for superior product quality. Father and manager, Steve Loftus, got his start in the early 90’s in grading and landscape installation. Later he moved to lumber sales which led him into residential renovation and home building.
Matt Loftus
Son and Manager, Matt Loftus, grew up working Summers for builders and running interior trim, which led him to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Construction Science. Upon graduating he worked his way through the ranks to area manager for a medium size Atlanta home builder.
With Over 50 years of residential building experience, we have been instrumental in the building of over 200 homes in Georgia.
We prefer to build cost plus, we are very transparent and the home owner sees all bills with no fluff added and no surprise invoicing.
At Heartland Contracting, we strive on years of honesty and integrity and we always make customer service our top priority!
Unlike most builders, we are hands on. We don’t build from an office or our truck. We are on site, doing it right. The first time.

We enter into a contract with you, the owner, to complete a project and take full responsibility to get the job done for the bid price. In general, we purchase the materials, hire the tradespeople, and bring in subcontractors.
We take care of your project from beginning to end and you won’t need to worry about talking to multiple companies. Not only are we dedicated Project Managers, that all aspects of your project and will be your point of contact but we are absolutely hands on and can found wearing a nail bag and getting dirty.
